1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
Welcome to Intrinsya.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Intrinsya website and online store, and any purchase of products made through the website.
The website and online store are operated by Intrinsya di Fabio Casamento ("Intrinsya", "we", "us" or "our").
By accessing or using our website, or by placing an order through our online store, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the website or place an order.
These Terms apply primarily to purchases made by consumers. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory rights or protections granted to consumers under applicable Italian or European law.
The contract may be concluded in Italian or in English, depending on the language selected on the website when you place your order. If you are a consumer resident in Italy, the Italian version prevails in the event of any discrepancy between the two.
Our website is hosted and operated through Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to offer our products for sale.

Intrinsya is an Italian business operating under the trade name Intrinsya.
You can contact us at the email address above or through our contact form for any question about orders, products, returns or complaints. We respond to enquiries without undue delay.
3. PRODUCTS
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, colours, dimensions and other information displayed on our website are accurate and up to date.
However, colours and the appearance of products may vary depending on your device, screen settings and other technical factors.
Product images are provided for illustrative purposes. Minor differences in appearance, packaging or presentation may occur where these do not affect the characteristics, quality or conformity of the product.
The characteristics of each product are described on the relevant product page.
We reserve the right to update product information, discontinue products or limit quantities available for purchase, provided that this does not affect orders that have already been accepted or any mandatory rights of consumers.
4. ORDERS AND CONTRACT FORMATION
By placing an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected by you.
Technical steps to conclude the contract
The process consists of the following steps: selecting products and adding them to the cart; opening the cart and reviewing its contents; entering shipping and billing details; choosing a shipping and payment method; viewing the full order summary including the total price inclusive of taxes and delivery charges; submitting the order.
Before submitting your order, you have the opportunity to review and correct the information entered, including products, quantities, delivery address and payment details, by returning to the earlier steps of the process.
By submitting an order, you acknowledge that placing the order entails an obligation to pay.
Confirmation and record-keeping
After you place an order, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email. This acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily constitute acceptance of the order.
A sales contract is concluded when we expressly confirm acceptance of your order, normally by sending an order confirmation email.
The order confirmation email, together with these Terms and the pre-contractual information, constitutes confirmation of the contract on a durable medium. Please retain it.
The text of the contract is stored in our systems and, if you have created an account, remains available in your account area on the website. You may in any case request a copy by writing to info@intrinsya.com.
Refusal or cancellation of an order
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in reasonable circumstances, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- there is an obvious error in the product description or price;
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity;
- the order appears to have been placed for commercial resale where this is not permitted; or
- we are unable to fulfil the order for reasons beyond our reasonable control.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order without undue delay.
Nothing in this section affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
5. PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices include VAT, where applicable, unless otherwise expressly stated.
The display currency depends on the country selected on the site: for most countries the prices are expressed in Euros (€), while for some countries they are expressed in the local currency. The order currency is the one indicated in the summary before sending the order and is the currency in which the amount is charged.
Prices in currencies other than the Euro derive from the conversion of the price in Euro at the exchange rate applied by the platform at the time of purchase, with possible rounding. The amount actually charged may differ due to conversion fees or exchange rates applied independently by the bank or payment method provider, over which Intrinsya has no control.
Any applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
The total price payable by you, including applicable taxes and delivery charges, will be shown before you submit your order.
Prices may change from time to time. Any change in price will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
We accept the payment methods made available during the checkout process.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.
You agree to provide accurate and complete billing and payment information and to use a payment method that you are authorised to use.
6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shipping conditions, processing times, costs and applicable limitations are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
Unless otherwise provided by applicable law, the risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, physically takes possession of the products.
If your order consists of multiple products delivered separately, the applicable legal rules concerning delivery and transfer of risk will apply to each delivery as required by law.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If you are a consumer purchasing products online, you generally have the legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without having to provide a reason.
For an order for goods, the withdrawal period normally begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, physically receive the goods.
To withdraw, an explicit statement sent to info@intrinsya.com or submitted through our contact form is sufficient. Your withdrawal is not subject to our approval.
The model withdrawal form is available in our Refund & Returns Policy; its use is optional.
Further information about how to exercise your right of withdrawal, return costs and refunds is provided in the same Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory right of withdrawal.
Packaging
Our products are hand-wrapped. Opening the packaging does not affect your right of withdrawal.
Where the right of withdrawal applies, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the products unless we have agreed otherwise or applicable law provides otherwise.
You may be liable for any diminished value of returned products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in accordance with applicable law and as set out in our Refund & Returns Policy.
8. REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Our rules concerning returns, withdrawals and refunds are set out in our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Where you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, we will refund the payments received from you in accordance with applicable law.
Unless otherwise required by law, refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
Where permitted by law, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Nothing in our Refund & Returns Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights.
9. LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY
Products sold to consumers are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005). The guarantee lasts 24 months from delivery of the goods, is provided free of charge, and does not require you to notify the defect within any specific time limit. Within the first 12 months from delivery, any lack of conformity that becomes apparent is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise.
If a product is defective, does not conform to the contract, or does not have the characteristics that a consumer is reasonably entitled to expect under applicable law, you may be entitled to the remedies provided by law.
Depending on the circumstances, these remedies may include repair or replacement and, where the legal requirements are met, an appropriate reduction of the price or termination of the contract.
The legal guarantee does not affect or replace any separate commercial warranty that may be expressly offered by Intrinsya.
As provided by law, the lack of conformity must have existed at the time of delivery. Accordingly, the legal guarantee does not cover defects resulting from improper use, impacts, drops, tampering, prolonged exposure to heat or direct light, or storage not in accordance with the instructions provided, nor does it cover the normal consumption of the product or deterioration occurring after the date of minimum durability or the period-after-opening indicated on the label.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights relating to the legal guarantee of conformity.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content made available through the website, including trademarks, logos, names, text, photographs, product images, graphics, designs, videos, audio, layouts and other materials, is owned by Intrinsya or used by us under appropriate rights or licences.
The Intrinsya name, logo, product names and related branding are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the website for your personal and non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, publicly display, commercially exploit or otherwise use our content or intellectual property without our prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights or licence to use our intellectual property beyond the limited right to access and use the website in accordance with these Terms.
11. WEBSITE USE
You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
- use the website for fraudulent, unlawful or abusive purposes;
- interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
- scrape, crawl or systematically collect information from the website without our permission;
- impersonate another person or entity; or
- use the website in a manner that may damage Intrinsya, our service providers or other users.
We may restrict or suspend access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect the security or integrity of the website, prevent abuse or comply with applicable law.
12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
Our website may use or provide access to services, applications, payment providers, shipping providers or other functionality supplied by third parties.
We may also provide links to third-party websites for convenience.
Third-party services and websites are subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party websites that we do not operate.
However, nothing in this section limits any liability or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
13. PRIVACY
The processing of personal data through our website is governed by our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
Our website is hosted on Shopify. Shopify and other service providers may process personal data on our behalf or as independent controllers where applicable, as described in our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the website footer.
14. REVIEWS AND CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
If you submit reviews, comments, suggestions or other content to us ("Feedback"), you remain responsible for the content you submit and must ensure that it does not infringe the rights of third parties or violate applicable law.
By submitting Feedback, you grant Intrinsya a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display and publish that Feedback for the purposes of operating, improving and promoting our products and services, subject to applicable law.
We may remove or decline to publish Feedback that we reasonably consider unlawful, misleading, abusive, defamatory, offensive or otherwise inappropriate, or that infringes third-party rights.
We do not guarantee that Feedback will be published or retained.
Where we display customer reviews, we will not knowingly present fake or misleading reviews or manipulate reviews in a manner prohibited by applicable law.
15. PRODUCT SAFETY AND USE
Our products are intended to be used in accordance with the instructions, warnings and information provided with the product and on our website.
You should read and follow any applicable product instructions and warnings before use.
Perfumes and fragrance products may contain ingredients that can cause allergic reactions or irritation in some individuals. Please review the applicable ingredient information provided with or alongside the product before use.
If you know that you are sensitive or allergic to any ingredient, you should avoid using the relevant product.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability arising from product safety laws or other mandatory provisions of applicable law.
16. INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on our website is accurate and up to date.
However, occasional typographical errors or other inaccuracies may occur.
Where permitted by law, we reserve the right to correct errors or update information on the website.
If an obvious error affects an order that has not yet been accepted, we may contact you to clarify the situation or cancel the order and refund any payment already made.
Nothing in this section permits us to disregard rights arising from a contract that has already been validly concluded or any mandatory consumer protection rights.
17. LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Intrinsya will not be liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the website.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability arising from:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- breach of mandatory consumer protection rights;
- the legal guarantee of conformity;
- applicable product safety or product liability laws; or
- any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
18. EVENTS BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
We will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing an obligation where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, governmental actions, widespread technical failures or significant disruptions to transport or telecommunications.
Where such an event affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its impact and fulfil our obligations as soon as reasonably possible.
This section does not affect any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, products, legal requirements or business practices.
The version applicable to your purchase will be the version in force at the time your order is accepted, unless a change is required by law or otherwise applies to an existing contractual relationship in accordance with applicable law.
The most recent version of these Terms will always be available on this page.
20. GOVERNING LAW AND CONSUMER RIGHTS
These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply to you under the laws of the country in which you reside.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable to you.
For consumers resident in Italy, the competent court is exclusively that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile, pursuant to Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from bringing proceedings before a competent court in accordance with the consumer protection rules applicable to your place of residence.
21. COMPLAINTS AND OUT-OF-COURT DISPUTE RESOLUTION
You may send complaints to info@intrinsya.com or through our contact form. We undertake to respond within a reasonable time and to seek an agreed solution.
If the dispute is not resolved, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body, including the conciliation service of the Milan Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce. The list of ADR bodies notified by Member States is available on the European Commission's consumer redress portal.
The European ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 following Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 and is no longer available.
Recourse to an ADR body is optional and does not affect your right to bring proceedings before the competent court.
22. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.
The invalid or unenforceable provision will be interpreted or replaced, where legally possible, in a manner that most closely reflects its original purpose while complying with applicable law.
23. NO WAIVER
If we do not immediately enforce a right or provision under these Terms, this does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Any waiver must be expressly made in writing to be effective.
24. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with the policies expressly incorporated into them, including our Refund & Returns Policy, our Shipping Policy and our Privacy & Cookie Policy, constitute the terms governing your use of our website and your purchases from Intrinsya.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
